I began refinishing boat decks along the coasts of California, Mexico and Central America in the mid-70’s. In 1979 I settled in Santa Cruz, started a family and realized the same need existed locally for natural wood decks and home siding. Other than a two-year stint on myformer salmon boat “Miss Colleen” in Alaska, it’s all I’ve done since.
